Terms of service
The rules for using Kurd Network: the free trial, the monthly subscription, what the shop is responsible for, acceptable use, suspension and liability.
These terms are the agreement between Kurd Network, built and managed by THEORIST, and each shop that uses it. By using Kurd Network or sending a trial request, you agree to them. Please also read our privacy policy.
The service
Kurd Network is a cloud point-of-sale (POS) and shop management service. It runs in the web browser on computers, tablets and phones.
Free trial
A new shop can try Kurd Network free of charge. During the trial the service is provided as it is, without any guarantees.
Subscription and payment
After the trial, each shop pays a monthly subscription to use Kurd Network. Ask us for the current price.
What the shop is responsible for
- The shop is responsible for its staff accounts: who gets an account, what each person may do, and keeping passwords secret.
- The shop is responsible for the correctness of the prices, taxes and other amounts it enters. Kurd Network calculates with the numbers the shop enters.
Acceptable use
You may not:
- use Kurd Network for anything illegal;
- try to reach another shop's data, or parts of the system you were not given access to;
- attack, overload or disrupt the service, or try to copy or resell it.
Unpaid subscriptions
If the subscription is not paid, we may suspend the shop's access. The shop's data is then kept for 90 days, and may be deleted after that.
The shop's data
The shop owns its data and can download a full backup at any time in Settings → Backup. How we handle data is explained in the privacy policy.
Limitation of liability
As far as the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the subscription fees the shop paid us in the 3 months before the claim.
Disagreements
If you disagree with us about anything in these terms, please contact us first. We will try to find a fair solution together, in good faith.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Changes are announced on this website, with a new “Last updated” date.
